Before the dying...

so i follow Kim Kardashian on Instagram...i don't really know why, most , if not all, are only pictures of her face...but that's besides the point...recently she was having fun trying on different color & style wigs...and as you know hair is a big thing for me and i too have had some fun experimenting with different colors & styles so i thought why not show you the many faces of MessyDirtyHair...(however none of these are wigs like kim k)...before my stylist Kelly came along, I was seeing another wonderful stylist Maureen....who btw is one of the funniest, silliest people ever..she is such a doll & so sweet....but anyways she is responsible for most of these fun & fabulous looks...

so enjoy.....& i would LOVE to hear what your favorite look/color is on me.....

in college i went back & forth between brown & blonde

then i started wearing it curly

supporting the OMBRE before it was "cool"

then i got full bangs

got rid of the bangs, added some layers & dyed it dark dark brown...it was almost black

then back to the side bangs & more of a chocolate brown

then i decided to add some red...this is one of my favorite hair colors i wore

so i started to become obsessed with red in my hair & i knew eventually i wanted to go all red so i started out slowly...

so i was loving the red so i went redder...

& here i just went for it & dyed it RED...so fun!

after the red i got over it & went platinum blonde!

then i just CHOPPED it & dyed it brown

longer in the front, short in the back

went a little shorter.....

i was loving the short du so much that i went shorter,more of a bob & darker...another fav of mine

and like usual i got over it & went back to a golden blonde

and then i decided to grow my hair out

then by my 26th birthday i was at a good blonde color, still waiting for my hair to grow long

and finally this past summer i was starting to see some length

then in November '11 i was in a hair show...the blonde got a little lighter

and now here we are today.......


i hope you enjoyed seeing all my colors & styles, these are all in order of how it happened..pretty crazy right!? and i am sure most of you are thinking OMG her hair must feel like straw...well let me help you out - it doesn't, i actually have been very lucky through all my dying that my hair is still the same soft, THICK hair that it has always been! now if you live in norcal & want one of these fabulous looks contact Maureen & she will hook you up!
