so much stuff

happy Friday lovers!!! How fabulous was Janna's post yesterday!? I'm not gonna lie, I def teared up a little when i saw her surprise letter to me at the end of the post. I love having her take over Messy.Dirty.Hair. & one more thing ---->

dear janna,
words cannot describe how blessed I feel to have 'met' you. You came into my life at the right time & now I couldn't imagine my life without you. I am so glad you won one of my first giveaways so we were able to 'meet'...its crazy how the world works. love you gf!!!

okay i promise no more mushy stuff. so before i introduce you to a freaking aaamazing blogger whom I love I need to get serious with you all ----> you all know how much I love my animals. They're family to me. They're my life. So of course I try & do everything I can to help unwanted or sick animals. No matter how broke I am every time I go to the pet store I always donate at least $1 to saving the animals. So when I heard about this special cause for sick animals of course I had to get involved...

If you don't know Jess of The Kentucky Priss then I feel sorry for you. She is one of my FAVORITE bloggers & people. She is a special person with a HUGE heart. We would be lucky to have more people like her in our world. I have never met someone so selfless & generous as her. She inspires me constantly to do better & be better.

So the other day Jess was talking about her friend Sarah who this November 4th, she will be running in a marathon in the BIG APPLE for a charity of her choice.
She chose to run for the animals.

Here's her story ------>
"It could be that man's best friend might one day be man's best healer."

A few weeks after I found out I had been accepted to run the ING NYC Marathon this fall, my first pet,  passed away from lung cancer.  The struggles "Pookie" went through with this disease caused her heart to enlarge & became too much of a fight for her 14-year-old body to continue to battle.

However, I feel that Pook's passing was a blessing in disguise & God's way of giving me a reason for committing to run 26.2 miles come November.

2 Million Dogs is a wonderful organization committed to discovering the common links between canine and human cancers and the causes of these cancers through comparative oncology research.  Started by a man who embarked on a cross country trek that was inspired by after losing his Great Pyrenees to cancer.

It's amazing to learn about the research being done on this disease & the comparisons that are being found between canine & human cancer.  I'm sure most of us, at some point in our life will be directly affected by cancer.  Please help me reach my goal of $1,000 by November 4th in not only aiding man's best friend, but our human fight against cancer.
Every little bit helps.

You can make your donations HERE

Maxx & I have already donated....& hopefully you can help add to her fund.

::::

okay i guess that was a little mushy too....ok i promise no more mushy stuff.
so today I have a very cool girl to introduce you too....I am sure most of you already know her but encase you don't....she has a fun lifestyle blog that dabbles in everything. She is such a chill, down to earth  girl & i love that about her. My favorite thing about her though is shes real, not a phony. Plus I think she lives a pretty cool life. So without further ado meet ---->

Jessica Who? is a blog about the life and style of a not-so-ordinary girl with a very ordinary name. The title of my blog refers to the constant "Jessica who??" question that all of us Jessica's face. I'm a Texas girl who lives in Hawaii with my sweet husband and our baby, Duke (a 1 year old puggle). I write about anything from recipes (I don't cook but I love to eat) and fashion (I like to pretend that I know what I'm talking about) but mostly about the adventure that is my life.

It’s your last day on earth - what do you do?
Take my sweet puppy to the beach (his favorite) and try to catch a pretty sunset, make out with my handsome husband A LOT, eat a TON of food, and drink LOTS of wine.

What made you up & move to the big island of Hawaii
My boyfriend (now husband) at the time got transferred to Hawaii. I was lovestruck and couldn't bare being that far away from him. After a few plane trips (and a lot of $) to see each other, we finally said this is it!! and tied the knot! And here I am :)

What's one thing we don't know about you that you think we should?
 I spent about a month in Uganda on a mission trip and was baptized in the Nile River at sunset! It was truly one of the most AMAZING experiences!

don't you just love her?! I think its so cool she moved to Hawaii...so today Jessica is giving away a fabulous leather & chain bracelet from InPink! I wish I could win it. So you know what to do --->

Heya this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
