Its FRIDAY!!!!! We made it through the week! I know the week after a holiday is always tough! But we did it! So first a HUGE thank you to this months #TheMessyProject girls! I couldn't have asked for a better group of girls this month! Even though they were all nervous about the shorts, they all went outside of the box, tried something new & they all looked fabulous! So thank you Chantelle, Shanna, Alison & Jenna!
Also thank you to everyone who left sweet comments & defended the anonymous 'hooker' comment. And to that anonymous person - thank you for leaving your comment - you brought a shit load of traffic to my blog....& just so you know I live about 45 minutes from Hollywood & as they say in Hollywood any publicity is good publicity. So thank you for helping me out!
My favorite Hooker - via |
Don't you just love Pretty Woman?! Such a classic.....& speaking of pretty women, today I have a blogger whom I just adore. She is such a sweetheart & so so supportive of MessyDirtyHair. She has been on the blog before, so this time I thought I would have her talk about her new shop since she sells such cute stuff that I know you will all love. If you have yet to follow her, seriously do it. She's wonderful. So without further ado meet
Hey everyone! It's me and I'm back and being messy! This month on Eloping Stethoscope, I got a bit overwhelmed and didn't post as much as I wanted to, but don't worry, I'm going to be posting a lot just as soon as my semester is over and you are not going to want to miss it! If you didn't catch me last month on Kelly' blog, I'm Paige and I blog at Eloping Stethoscope. I live in Memphis, TN with my shiny new husband and I'm in nursing school, striving to graduate with my bachelor degree no later than Dec. 2013. I hope to work in Labor and Delivery when I graduate. I hope you'll join me on my blog to hear all about it!
Why did you decide to start making and selling jewelry?
I started making jewelry a long time ago because I have really small wrists and sensitive ears and a lot of the cute jewelry at stores like Forever 21 were impossible for me to wear. I've always loved crafting, so I figured, why not? Then my friends starting asking me to sell it an the rest is history.
What is your favorite piece and why?
I have to say it's probably the birds on a branch necklace, the never never give up bracelet or the live your dream bracelet! I also love the hair ties that I make.
How do you manage both your shop and being a nurse?
Well, I'm still in school, but I imagine it will be a lot easier being a nurse and managing a shop because when I'm actually working as a nurse, I won't have to worry about studying all the time! Right now though, I make a lot of pieces and then list them slowly or I make pieces that I can easily remake and make them as the orders come in, if that makes sense.
