Ways To Celebrate Valentines Day During Coronavirus

In light of Coronavirus (COVID-19) , our travel plans are being cancelled, offices are now widely work-from-home, and staying home after work to unwind instead out is much more appelaing than before. But, with Valentines day on the way, you are probably still wanting to celebrate with your special other half.

Even though, you are very unlikely to be planning a trip away, it doesn’t mean you can’t make this day special. So, let’s have a look at some of the ways you can do this below:

Cook At Home Together

There is nothing that warms the heart the same as a home-cooked meal. Wheter you choose to cook up a feast with a little team work and a few glasses of wine, or take advantage of one of the special Valentines' Day promotions, deals or offers that appear this tim of the year, cooking up a storm is bound to impress your other half.

Create An At Home Movie Night

It may feel like a long time since we have been able to enjoy a night at the movies, and although it is for a good reasons and to keep us safe, it’s about time we started to find new ways to enjoy the cinema. Why not create an at home movie night with all he extra included. Build yourself a cozy den, ambient lighting, a recent romantic film (or something you and your partner enjoy), a few snacks such as hotdogs and popcorn, and add a few snuggly blankets?

Order Some Flowers

GIRLS LOVE FLOWERS! I cannot stress this enough. We love getting flowers. You literally can't go wrong with ordering some flowers Valentine’s Day, and is something that is loved and adored by many couples, and it certainly never fails to impress. What’s even better, you are likely to be at home when they arrive this year, especially if you are working from home.

Have A Pamper Evening

There is just something that screams romantic night in when couples take the time to look after themselves together. A pamper evening is the perfect way to do this. From face masks and foot masks through to a hot bubble bath and massage, there are plenty of options when it comes to pampering each other.

Grab Some Exercise

Although you may not think of this a romantic, exercise is really important and one of the only things we can go out for at the moment. So, instead a skipping on your normal routine completely, use this time to exercise together. You can then unwind with a nice breakfast or dinner together to unwind. If you’re not the type of couple to find enjoyment from exercising in the form of a workout together, you could alway choose a nice casual stroll. It’s still exercise but it’s much lighter and can be romantic.

In more ways than one, this Valentines day may be different, but that shouldn be seen as unique rather than a bad thing. You are able to create a special experience by doing some of these activities together, while also remaining same and sound. Are you planning anything thia Valentines Day?
