vibrant & bold

hello lovers! so today is day 1 of my shopping experience while i was in Hawaii....as i wrote in the previous post I was overwhelmed with the amazing designer stores they had in Oahu. It wasn't just that they had fabulous designer stores everywhere, but the way they were styled & merchandised was just breathtaking. now obviously my pictures will never be as amazing as it was in person but i still hope you can get a feel of how vibrant &perfect the displays were. It was literally like being at an art museum to me.

so today's store is Kate Spade. Its funny because Kate Spade was actually my first designer purse! Remember this bag....

it was the classic Kate Spade purse that everyone seemed to have. They were very popular back in the late 90s & they came in many different colors & designs. However, to me, I felt like after this bag she started to go downhill....not in a bad way, just the bags weren't as cute anymore & didn't seem as youthful. i kinda stopped being into Kate Spade because I didn't care for the direction she was going in.

However in 2006 Liz Claiborne took over Kate Spade & there was a complete makeover! Kate's current Spring/Summer line is to die for. Its SO youthful & fun....and right on trend. I was SO excited to see that the line has started catering to a younger generation as well as keeping the classiness of Kate Spade still alive.

every single detail of this store was PERFECT...i am not kidding. there was not one shirt un-folded or one piece of jewelry out of place.

everything was so vibrant & bold...it was just a beautiful blur of color...i LOVED her new smaller bags, like the one I am wearing in the photo..it was trendy, simple & chic...and even better the prices were not outrageous at all.

i am so excited about Kate's new line & looking forward to see what else she does in the future!
