5 Easy Ways To Boost Your Blog

via

Over the past ten years or so, blogging has become a real means of making a handsome living. It started out as a small community of people that enjoyed writing and posting about wherever their passion lies – it’s now something that is utilized by more than just writers looking to create fun, significant content. It’s a way for a business to engage with an audience in the hope of attracting more leads, it’s a way for writers to launch themselves into more platform, and it’s a way for people to express themselves in whatever way they want. It’s a fantastic aspect of life and one that is only going to become more popular as the years go by.

If you’re looking to get into blogging, or if you’ve been at it for a few weeks/months, then you’ll probably know by now that it’s not a case of simply typing things, posting them, and reaping the rewards. You need to keep at it and get a few peripheral things right, too. You also need to build up a skill in writing – you don’t need to become Shakespeare, but you need to have the fundamentals covered. Just like every other skill, or personal aspect of your being, such as your dating life, it’s something that you need to work on constantly if you want it to go well.
Interested in the kinds of things you need to figure out? Well, here are some for you now:

Just Start!

We’ll cover a few things in the rest of this article, but one of the best pieces of advice that can be given is that you should just begin and see where it takes you. Obviously, knowing what to do and what techniques to use is helpful, but there’s no substitute for experience. You can have all the tricks up your sleeve, but if you don’t put the work in, then those tricks become pretty obsolete. So go ahead and try things. Fail at things. Learn from mistakes. Just keep plugging away at this game. The more you do it, the better you’ll get – that’s a fact.

Look At How Others Do It

Do a little research into how bloggers who are well underway doing their thing. Many, many people out there are earning a tremendous amount of money from this job, so taking a few bits and pieces from them wouldn’t be a stupid idea. Obviously, the likes of Huffington Post and LifeHacker are the absolute pinnacles, but you can still take little nuggets from them. Smaller but just-as-handy blogs can be studied, too. For instance, if you’re looking to create a fashion blog, then the likes of Joyfully Styled could help you out a little. Fitness? Well, NerdFitness isn’t a bad role model site!

Learn About Web Design

In order to have a successful blog, the website itself needs to be of a certain standard. It doesn’t need to be the most aesthetically pleasing thing in the world, and it doesn’t need to have all kinds of ground-breaking functions. It does need to look nice on the ease in a simple sense, though. Don’t overwhelm the visitor and don’t make it look like you’re trying too hard. They show up to get more content from you and to enjoy their time – so let them do just that.

Figure Out How SEO Works

Search engine optimization is the practice of making your website easier to find in search results – easy, right? Everyone is using a search engine like Google in order to find what they want; so you need to make sure you’re at the front of the queue. There’s a bunch of ways to do it, but the likes of link building and produce consistent, relevant content are two ways of boosting your SEO score.

Take In As Much Info As You Can

Learn the craft. We talked before about getting in as much experience as you can, but keeping hold of important nuggets is just as important a task for you. Watch people as they teach you on YouTube. Listen to podcasts about blogging and the business behind it all. Read articles on how best to improve your work. Blogging is a genuine skill that you’ll need to master, so take it as seriously as you would in a typical, boring office job! There may come a time where you feel completely drained and bored with the learning period, but seriously, keep at it. Successful people power through the plateau, and the losers give up!

How To Achieve Clearer Skin

via

We all want clear skin, yet this is a luxury reserved for the very lucky amongst us! It’s rare to have naturally clear skin as there are so many things that can happen over time. If you do, then you should consider yourself truly blessed. For the rest of us, clear skin is more of a challenge. Still, it’s a challenge you can stand up to! With that in mind, here are some tips to help you achieve clearer skin:

Wash your face every morning and night
Ensure you clean your face daily, making sure that you do this in the morning and evening. Why? Well, it cleanses your face of any extra oils or dirt or sweat. This stops spots from forming on your face, which can be a real cause of self-confidence issues. Many people struggle when they have spots and have a big date coming up. If you can’t get rid of them, your next option is to cover them up. This leads to piling on lots of makeup, which makes you feel self-conscious as well as adding to your skin problems and making the spots duplicate! Prevent them from forming by keeping your face clean!

Remove any stubborn blemishes
Unfortunately, you can have blemishes or things on your face that won’t go away with traditional treatments. This includes skin tags or acne scars and really stubborn spots. No matter what you do, they can only be removed by specific means. Some people resort to surgery, but there are things like the Spot Eraser Pro that let you take care of them at home. Effectively, you use a tool to remove the blemishes and let your skin heal. Given time, it should now appear nice and clear!

Use a vitamin B3 serum
Vitamin B3 - also known as 'niacinamide' - is excellent at keeping your skin clear. Thus, you should use a serum that includes this as one of the main ingredients. There’s a brand called The Ordinary that does a very popular product just like that. You can apply the serum to your face after washing and before putting moisturizer on. With regular use, it will significantly reduce the appearance of blemishes and redness on your skin. You’ll be amazed at how quickly vitamin B3 gets to work! Plus, these serums tend to leave skin feeling nice and smooth as well.

Use a daily moisturizer
Finally, you need to use a moisturizer on your skin every day. Dry skin will try and moisturize itself by secreting natural oils. The problem with this is that the oils will make your skin overly greasy, which can lead to breakouts. The only way to counter this is to keep your skin naturally moisturized. So, use a moisturizer every day to do just that! It’ll prevent breakouts from overly oily skin, and it also stops any dry patches.

There you go, that’s not too hard, right? Just remember to wash your face every day - using a cleanser on most days, but you could switch to an exfoliator now and then. Follow this with some vitamin B3 serum and a daily moisturizer, along with blemish removal for the stubborn things.

Ask Your Partnered Up Friends For Advice

Sometimes it can be helpful to ask your friends for advice and when it comes to asking the right ones, pick those who are already partnered up. Their experiences are likely to be different, but they can probably give you some helpful guidance on how they managed dating and what they found helpful. It could be about the types of places they went on their dates that helped or the way in which they went about finding a date. Asking your friends can be a little nerve-racking, but there are some friends that you have that will give you the help and confidence you might need without taking the mick out of you!

Spruce Up Your Online Profiles

Your online profiles, if you have any, can often become a little outdated. So like your social media profiles and feeds, keep them updated. Even if you don’t go on the dating platforms very often, it’s still good to keep them up to date in case someone sees your profile and decides to get in touch. You could be missing out on potential partners that are well suited for you! A good tip when it comes to updating your profile is to post a picture of you alone, rather than with friends, especially when it comes to your main image. Make sure you’re conversational on your description and don’t try too hard. And don't forgot, I met my husband on a online dating site. You just never know.

Educate Yourself

Education is something we all need across a range of subjects, and that includes your dating skills. Try to educate yourself by using programs like the scrambler  and doing a bit of online research to find what makes other people you’re interested in, tick. The more you can learn, the better you will become when it comes to navigating the dating world. There can be a lot of myths and assumptions surrounding dates and how you should act or what you should do. Remember to not get into your head too much when it comes down to the planning and what to say on the dates themselves.

Look Again At Your Wants In A Partner

A lot of the reasons why your dates might not go to plan is because you’re looking at the wrong types. Take a look again at your wants and needs in a partner. They may have changed since you last thought about it. Consider you want because it could influence your decisions in who you choose and you might be surprised then at how your dates play out.

Helping your dating life in any way that you can is essential so use these tips to make it a little easier.
