i hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day spent with your loved ones. I really enjoyed seeing everyones Valentines goodies...its always so cute!! I had a wonderful day & the BF totally surprised me.

Okay, so what does this have to do with fashion?

Well we can all hit up the mall, scour the "it" boutiques, and shop online to find the newest fashion, but then you are a.) wearing the same thing that SusieQ wore last week (having the same one as six other people in this club is a hella don't) b.) spending enormous amounts of money (Yo- That's $50 dolla's for a tshirt...)  and c.) there isn't that much creativity involved if you are just buying the "in" cookie cutter clothes. How 'bout we all think outside the box, get old skool wit'it and THRIFT an outfit for Fearless Fashion Friday!

so I really enjoyed reading everyones comments last week on my crop top post....i still really want to try it & so does Janna so I think we are going to work on a little something special... so this week I have another funky trend that I really want to try....

Knee High Socks

I have always loved the school girl look ever since I went to Catholic school when I was younger. I especially loved wearing knee highs with a plaid pleated skirt....so I like how Fashion is incorporating knee highs with more everyday wear.  Plus as you can see in the pictures above knee highs can be dressed up as well as dressed down. I really like the knee highs with a dress, its just such a fun alterative to wearing stockings.  However, you do need to watch what you put with the knee highs so it doesn't turn into the 'slutty' school girl we all see around Halloween time.  Personally if I were to add some knee highs to my wardrobe I would get the basica colors black & grey. I think anything else would just be too much.  What do you think of the knee high sock trend? Is it something you would try?     - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
